This is an online archive of lots of information about the band, including their history, music and alternative endeavours.
Mick's latest venture has produced some tangible results - not just an album on CD, but THREE of the little critters!
The Lunacy Board are releasing their "Eponymous Debut" on 13th July, followed by their "Difficult Second" on the 14th and their soundtrack album, "Stockholm" on the 15th. Just to make it more interesting they'll actually be writing recording and publishing the 2nd album in a single day, which will be webcast live.
The 2nd album will be available as a free download, but a special pre-order offer is available on their website at www.lunacyboard.com
It was 25 years ago this week that The Deserters came into being. Scary, amazing stuff!
We have a new section, Instrumentography, where we'll be giving details about some of the more unusual instruments The Deserters have played. The first two featured are the Yobstick (of course) and the electric Busilacchio suitcase chord organ.
Mick has been hard at work on his latest project as part of a new progressive rock band "The Lunacy Board" and they now have their own website at www.lunacyboard.com. By way of celebration, their first recording "The Unofficial National Anthem" is available on the site for free download, and it's a bit of a cracker.
There's a new section on the site: Bibliography, where you'll find anything the band have committed to paper. So far this includes all 4 copies of the Deserters' fanzine "Deserted", along with Lee Newe's free summer supplement. All are now free to download and enjoy!
